Bybit allows tokenized Nvidia Tesla shares as collateral

Bybit now accepts six tokenized US stocks, including Nvidia and Tesla, as collateral for margin trading and lending, allowing eligible retail and institutional users to borrow against tokenized holdings without liquidating their equity exposure. The xStocks, issued on Solana by tokenization platform Backed, are backed one-to-one by real shares held with regulated custodians, tying token supply and prices directly to the underlying Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Robinhood, Circle, and Alphabet equities. Extending collateral use to Unified Trading Account, Crypto Loans, and Institutional Loans increases utility for previously spot-only xStocks, while competition intensifies as exchanges like Kraken and Bitget expand tokenized equity services within a rapidly growing $1.72 billion market.
