BlackRock tokenizes $311B on Ethereum with Kinexys
BlackRock has tokenized $311 billion worth of European money market funds on Ethereum, using JP Morgan’s Kinexys platform to issue blockchain-based representations of traditional fund shares for institutional investors and market participants. The move builds on earlier experiments with tokenized liquidity funds and reflects growing institutional interest in bringing regulated financial products onto public blockchains, where on-chain tokens can mirror existing securities while operating within established compliance frameworks.
